My favorite thing in the world is to dress kiddos up in their Sunday best and turn them loose in their favorite places and spaces. Call it documentary photography, call if environmental portraiture, call it photojournalism or whatever you like. I document the mundane and the chaotic alongside the extraordinary and sublime.
Great portraits capture more than the way we look: they capture who we are. That is my aim in every portrait that I create. Bring on the capes and costumes! Brings on the silly faces and beloved toys! Let children be children and let their personalities shine.
